2004/6/24 8:55:00

A group of good friends has organized a Poker Run this Saturday for a Midway community resident in Calhoun County who is in need of financial help with medical expenses.

Jerry Wiles, a recent victim of pancreatitis, spent 22 days in the hospital for treatment. A carpenter by trade, Wiles had recently lost his health insurance and is now facing some large medical bills. His friends have stepped in to assist and have enlisted the help of Orangeburg National Bank, AgSouth Farm Credit, Orangeburg Distributors and Aiken Produce.
