Club agrees to pay $6,000 fine for video poker machines

A western Pennsylvania club has agreed to pay a six thousand dollar fine stemming from a raid by authorities last year that found three video poker machines.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles in Derry, Westmoreland County, also pleaded guilty to possession of the video poker machines.

Court papers say that authorities found about one thousand, 400 dollars in a cash box used to pay people their winnings from the poker machines and 500 dollars was taken from three machines during the August 13th, 2003, raid.

The club must also pay 350 dollars in fines and costs.
